Step-by-step guide to create a boot disk for booting Xpenology bootloaders.
- Download the bootloader you intend to use.
- Extract the
.gzto.img. - Plug-in the USB flash drive.
- In a Mac terminal, run
diskutil list. - Note the disk number of of the USB flash drive in the list.
- Run
sudo dd if=arpl.img of=/dev/rdisk# bs=1m.- Replace
#with the disk number.
- Replace
